Frequently Asked Questions

Infrared Pressotherapy combines two powerful technologies in one treatment. Pressotherapy uses sequentially inflating air chambers — delivered via a suit worn over your legs, abdomen, and arms — to apply rhythmic pressure to the lymphatic system. Simultaneously, infrared heat penetrates the tissue to warm and relax the body from the inside out, accelerating circulation and detoxification.

The primary benefits include reducing fluid retention and puffiness, stimulating lymphatic drainage to flush out toxins, improving blood circulation, relieving tired and heavy legs, reducing the appearance of cellulite, and promoting a general feeling of lightness and wellbeing.

A standard Infrared Pressotherapy session runs for approximately 45 minutes. We also offer 3-session and 10-session packages, which are more cost-effective for those undergoing a full treatment course.

Not at all. The rhythmic inflation of the suit is a firm but deeply comfortable pressure — most clients find it profoundly relaxing. The infrared warmth feels like gentle, penetrating heat. Many people fall asleep during the session.

You will notice a feeling of lightness and reduced puffiness immediately after your first session. For more significant and lasting results — particularly for cellulite reduction and chronic fluid retention — a course of 10 sessions is recommended. Maintenance sessions once or twice a month are ideal thereafter.

Most people are excellent candidates. However, Infrared Pressotherapy is not recommended if you are pregnant, have active deep vein thrombosis (DVT), have a cardiac pacemaker, are currently experiencing an acute infection, or have known blood clots. If you have any underlying health conditions, please consult your doctor before booking.

Drink plenty of water after your session to help flush out the toxins and waste products mobilised by the lymphatic stimulation. Try to avoid alcohol on the day of your treatment. Light activity such as walking is beneficial to keep the lymph moving.

Yes, it pairs beautifully with G5 Massage, full-body lymph drainage massage, and Ozone Therapy as part of a comprehensive body wellness programme. Your therapist can advise on the best combination for your specific goals.
